Knowledge Space International IS NOW SEI CMMi LEVEL 5 Assessed
Knowledge Space International, is pleased to announce that the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), a federally funded research and development center sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense and operated by Carnegie Mellon University, has formally evaluated and now recognized, Knowledge Space International as a CMMi Level 5 assessed organization. The significance of this achievement is truly noteworthy - of 630 Appraisals covering 298 participating companies, and 567 organizations reporting maturity levels, only 116 “Organizations” are at Maturity Level 5, world wide. This is indeed a remarkable accomplishment and is one that truly exemplifies the character of the development organization at Knowledge Space International.
In simple terms, this acknowledgement means that Knowledge Space International’ rigorous process of continual process improvement, used when executing software projects, has been ranked up there with some of the foremost companies in the world. This is particularly critical in today’s marketplace where the emphasis placed by many of our competitor companies has shifted to “get it done at the lowest cost”. By attaining CMMi Level 5, we have demonstrated that we fully understand the software development process and that we are practicing daily process management through every day quality policies, procedures standards and approaches that ensure that our customers receive the most effective and efficient solutions possible.
As the SEI stated to us – “At Level 5, everyday should be a learning experience that improves the business and the people and Your commitment to process improvement is now not a choice but a business necessity!”

Only 28.5% of all assessments reported to the SEI achieve Level 3 or above, only 9.1% achieve Level 4 or higher and only 3.7% achieve Level 5," said Khorssand Haghpassand, Knowledge Space International’ President.
