Defect Management:
  • Graphical defect log sheet is maintained
  • Defects are logged and are given severity level
  • Phase of origin of defects is identified
  • Defect data is analyzed and test related metrics are prepared and disseminated to the development team and management
System Test Certification:
  • Product has to be certified by the System Testing Team prior to release.
  • The certificate may note the list of known defects that will be communicated to the customer along with the delivery release.
